If you’ve followed the From Zero with Zero guide from the very beginning without stopping (and skipped the practice sections), this has probably taken about an hour, maybe more. But more importantly, you’ve absorbed a lot of new information.
So here’s my advice: pause here. Give yourself a break to process everything. Let your brain catch up before moving on. When you return, you’ll be refreshed and ready to keep building.
But if you feel like you still have some energy left, instead of diving into the next heavy section, here are a few light but useful things you can do:
- Visit http://localhost:1313/blog/why-hugo/ and read some behind the scenes content.
- Create a
about.md
page beside thepolicy.md
with real info about you or your site. Make it personal. - Update the
policy.md
with your own site policies or rules. - Make a list of any questions you have so far and then try to answer them using Alpha’s or Hugo’s documentation.
- Or simply keep practicing in creating and organizing content.
When you’re rested and ready to go again, we’ll take a closer look at the frontmatter.
You’ve done great so far. Keep it up!
